At St. Philip we believe that Christian education is essential to our faith and growth as Christians. We strive to have a variety of educational opportunities so that no matter who you are or what your situation is, there is a place for you to get connected!
Fall Women's Retreat
The St. Philip Women’s Retreat is coming up in October! You’re probably thinking, “Didn’t we just have one of those last spring?” We did, but have decided that the fall was a better time and instead of waiting until next fall we are having another one right away. It will be the weekend of October 10th-12th at the Roeber’s cabin at Lake Tahoe. The retreat will be a chance for the women of St. Philip to take a break from their daily lives and spend some time connecting with the Lord and with their friends! Cost for the weekend is $125 (includes food, transportation, and lodging) with a non-refundable $50 deposit due by October 1st. Contact Susie Wilkerson to sign up or for more information. Space is limited, so sign up soon!

Adult Sunday Morning Bible Studies
These classes are led by Pastor Schruhl. He is currently in a series on Paul's letter to the Romans. You're sure to learn something new! It is a great option for adults to consider while their children are in Sunday School. This class meets in 10A at 10:00 every Sunday. For more information, contact Pastor Schruhl.
Adult Midweek Bible Study
A new midweek Bible study series will begin this month. With Pastor Koberg gone, the format will be different, but the groups, meeting times, and leaders will all be the same. The topic will be the Sermon on the Mount. It is a section of Scripture that contains some of Jesus’ most profound and perplexing statements. During the series we will examine the different parts of his most famous sermon and how they apply to our lives today.
Classes are available Tuesday at 7:30, Thursday at 9:00, and Saturday mornings at 8:30 starting the week of September 21st. Sign up on the bulletin board in the entrance hall if you are interested.
