After 45 years of service, Pastor Koberg will be retiring on June 29th, 2008. It will be a day for celebration, thankfulness, recognition, and memories. All of St. Philip's present and former members, friends of St. Philip, and anyone who has been touched by the ministryPastor Koberg is invited to be there to join in the festivities!

June 29th, 2008: Join us for worship at 10:00 to hear Pastor Koberg's last sermon at St. Philip. Following the service, there will be a luncheon and program in the Fellowship Hall. If you are planning on attending, please R.S.V.P to Pam Roeber as soon as possible! Donations: If you would like to make a donation to the Koberg Ministry Celebration Gift, there are envelopes in the narthex marked "Ministry Celebration." You can enclose your donation and place it in the offering plate.

Golf Tournament: In honor of Pastor's years of ministry, there will be the first annual St. Philip "Koberg Invitational". It will be held on May 17th at the San Ramon Golf Club. Tee-offs begin at noon, registration is at 11:00 and the putting contest starts at 11:30.

All skill levels of men and women are welcome! If you're not a great golfer, we'll pair you up with a better player! This is a "Best Ball" Format". Cost is $75 per player, which includes entry into all events, 18 holes of golf, and a riding cart, and prizes. An awards presentation and buffet will will be held directly after at the Fellowship Hall at St. Philip.
