So often people tend to think that once they become a Christian, they will be free of the cares of the world, that trouble and hardships will no longer come their way. God never promised freedom from life's difficulties, but He has given us His promise that He will be present with us as we go through them. In Joshua 1:5 He says, "I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you." One of the ways God is with us is in the people He places in our lives to care for us and be with us through our suffering, people whol will listen and love us, support and encourage us -- people like Stephen Ministers.

Our Stephen Ministers are part of the international organization of Stephen Ministries and they have been specially trained in Christian caring skill. If you or someone you know are experiencing a crisis such as the loss of a loved one, hospitalization, separation or divorce, loss of a job, depression, or loneliness, please speak with one of our Stephen Leaders. They will meet with you, assess your need, and assign a Stephen Minister who will best meet that need.
